with subtitles)
Costume and dance:
Kata Kwiatkowska, Josephine Nahrstedt
Voice Over:
Lena Brückner
In the film, a dancing person, with all her
doubts, insecurities and conflicts in an increasingly complex world, embarks on
her search for meaning. We hear voices speaking that never speak directly to
her, but touch her at various poles of her search for meaning.
NASA
researchers, who investigate questions in the depths of the galaxies, that
ultimately lead back to our existence and ourselves, clash with esoteric
luminous figures, who have outgrown their physical, mental and planetary limits
in their own struggle.
Miles Away - Lightperformance 2018
The minimalist piece of music ‘Miles Away’ by Philip Selway is the starting point for a light performance in which sound is translated into a visual counterpart. The visual composition is muted during the performance and can be seen independently of the piece of music.
The musical piece consists of an abstract story in its individual components of the arc of suspense. By analysing, experimentally translating and combining the individual auditory facets into the visual, an independent dramaturgical piece is created. Experimental pieces of music, which are reduced to their essential components, serve as points of reference in the differentiated translation and design. This creates a concentrated intensity as well as a condensed emotionality.
The visual piece explores the musical and sensual in the moving image in the spirit of pure cinema. The spatially surrounding form of the installation raises the composition to a panoramic view that surrounds the viewer.

excerpts from Nachtlichter 1-12 - Lightperformance
Nachtlichter 1-12 is a light performance captured on video. With their movements through stencils and reflective objects, the few artificial, constant light sources are divided into many new individual fragments, shapes and forms. As they glide restlessly through the space, they slowly merge into a gentle dramaturgy.

Every Day is the Same…
- Installation (2017)
Keep the cycle going! Make sure that the leaking water is collected in a glass and replace the glass as soon as it is full. Switch on the hob and bring the water to the boil and then switch it off again.
When the water bottle is empty, take a funnel and pour the water from the glasses back into the bottle. The bottle must be at an angle so that drops escape slowly. Then place a tea towel from the line on the remaining puddles. And take care of the flower from time to time.
